The year is 2005. Unknown to the people of Hulett, Wyoming (population: 408) a change was about to happen. The creation of a new company ran by students. Dave Letellier, industrial arts teacher, and Deb Adema, business teacher, applied for a grant from the WY State Career & Technology Department. They soon received the grant and Devils Tower Log Furniture was born.

Everything about the company, from the advertising to the making of our beds, is completely run by the students. There are two classes of DTLF kids. One half of the class makes the furniture while the other half makes sure that the business runs smoothly. The shop kids harvest their own logs from the surrounding area, and then they build whatever your heart desires. The business class keeps track of the finances and promotes the company.
